Aging Eye (Presbyopia)

Aging Eye (Presbyopia)

Presbyopia is a natural part of the aging process. It gets harder to see close up, but you can see things far away-this is Presbyopia.

Presbyopia happens when the lens of the eye gets less flexible.

Your doctor will let you know if you have Presbyopia during an eye exam. Reading glasses, bifocals, progressive lenses, contact lenses or implants are all possible treatments for Presbyopia. Your Ophthalmologist will recommend the best option for you.
